Guiliani practically burst a blood vessel the other day, yelling about Obama, saying he should resign because our GDP growth is slow. Same guy who called Romney the biggest flip-flopper and worst choice for (R) candidate in '08.

Poor Rudy can't decide whom to blame for Sandy's destruction of NYC, let alone the slow response in the after-math. He's loathe to criticize Mayor Bloomberg or FEMA, because he's been on both sides himself. Much easier to look away from the mess, and blame Obama for everything. Same thing he once said wasn't fair to Bush.

Waited a little over 30 min to get to the voting booth. This time instead of the electronic voting machines we had paper ballots this year. Not a problem but it seems to be slowing the process down some. Mainly because I was surrounded by old people; though to be fair the electronic machines may have been a worse problem for the old folks.

My district will probably go -R despite my best effort (they always have) so it'll be up to the rest of VA as to who wins the state.

EDIT: Cousin in another district waited 2 1/2 hrs to vote.

I think I probably ended up waiting about forty five minutes to vote, and I beat the rush. Behind me were people who had at least an hour wait before they could get in.

Smaller races are often candidate by candidate for me, but that does mean a heavy number of (L)'s on my ticket. At one time or another I've voted for R's, D's, and L's.

Local elections actually fare well for Libertarians, (relatively speaking) and it's not uncommon to have them in local government. Their representation decreases exponentially at each subsequent level of government (state/federal).

Issue is turnout... was really hoping Obama's youth vote wouldn't show up. But we'll see.

B) Whether turnout is high or low, Romney would have to win Virginia by 2-3% if he wants to have any chance in Ohio, and that doesn't seem to have been the case.
C) Stop assuming that every potential problem with polls will end up working in the favor of your candidate.

A - It was pretty big. But we also had an awful economic mess. A record youth turnout. And a big desire for new leadership.
B - Probably true - but we'll see what the actual Virginia results are. Again I'm not stating "Romney has it in the bag" I'm saying that I think he will eke out a victory.
C - Stop assuming every presidential cycle will have accurate polling models.
