There's no question some in prison aren't. Wishing violence on inmates means wishing it on innocents too
The purpose of prison is to incarcerate so they can't harm the public anymore, not to be shanked.

Not relying on it. Stating that I wouldn't shed a tear if it occurred. I am in favor of prosecuting people who assault others in prisons - keeping them locked up longer would be safer for society as a whole after all. If a terrorist is killed by another terrorist - I'd be pretty happy and would shed no tears. I'm not suggesting we rely on terrorists to kill other terrorists, just like I'm not suggesting we rely on prisoners to kill other prisoners. But if it happens, its a cool bonus.

Why is it a "cool bonus"? You're basically saying that extrajudicial punishments are a good thing. There's a vast difference between not feeling sorry for murderers being killed and approving the illegal killing of said murderers.
