He is bursting with energy and utterly focused. Just look at the discipline of his leadership campaign. It looks like he might manage to pull off a GE win (after 9 years of austere Tory Govt) that would objectively be a hell of an achievement. If you add to that two times winner of the London mayoralty, the man who won the Brexit referendum, then you have the most successful electoral track record since Blair (at least).

That's not a bad record so far - even if he does blow up at some point in the future. (But don't count on it.)
Using the Trumpian strategy of deflecting through ad hominem? Every thing I said is demonstrably true. FYI (and this is undoubtedly supported by my posts here), my views align fairly well with the pre-2016 Conservative Party. I didn't become any more left wing. Your Conservative Party decided to abandon pragmatic liberal conservatism in favor of a corrupt nationalism. Any party that would debase itself by appointing Boris Johnson as its leader (by a huge margin no less) is a not party that deserves anyone's respect. Ditto for Labour and Corbyn, but Corbyn has no shot at getting a majority.
