You keep making this point as if it's good. As if you're proud of having thought it up.

This argument was stupid back in 2016, it was still stupid in early June when you brought it up again, it continued to be stupid when you tried it last week and it has not become any less stupid in the past seven days.

The next time you try it, after you scour the news and find an unrelated trend that started at some point in the past but continued through June and go "eh, close enough", it will continue being stupid.

Unrelated trend? What a reach. You can make the case that the additional deaths is "worth it" to combat whatever issues you see in policing but you can't make the case that the riots and unrest haven't contributed to the increase in murders and shootings. That's just retarded.
