I don't know what to say. One has to wonder who is qualified to report then? Only white reporters who are sitting on the fence about the existence of (systemic) racism?

Tbh, I am prejudiced against white Swedes; I think they are complete and utter hypocrites when it comes to racism.
    Congratulations America

I think their position is that you can be black and report on these things if you keep quiet otherwise and also have no political opinions or affiliations. Hilariously, this doesn't just apply to reporters and race—I know several non-Swedish political experts who've been interviewed on matters pertaining to their area of expertise, in relation to eg. US politics, and then not published because they're eg. registered Democrats. It's all just a little... low-rent.

I won't hold it against you; you can't be blamed for not knowing—because of your Turkish/Dutch education, which is inferior to Swedish education—that racism only exists in the US. Most white Swedes have a massive cultural and social blind spot when it comes to racism. Racism doesn't exist; to the extent that it does exist it's a minor problem attributable to a tiny group of fringe nutjobs; most of what is described as racism isn't actually racism and/or is justified—it's just a legitimate rejection of backward cultures and religions and illiteracy and refusal to learn the language. Our public debate on racism is probably a generation or more behind that of eg. anglophone countries. White Swedes and non-white Swedes don't yet share lives and experiences—and public fora—to the extent where the former can easily relate to the latter in this respect. Need more love-jihad I guess.

Seems kind of racist to discriminate based on skin color, people shouldn't do that.

Surprisingly, they managed to make it even worse:

I sense sarcasm but just for clarity - we have a lot of racism in America. Just look at how Asian Americans are often required to be head and shoulders above academically speaking in comparison to non-Asians to get into top schools. Outside of that type of systematic racism we also have small groups of people who practiced individual racism such as the KKK and the New Blank Panther Party.
