To say he's a touch to the right of Stalin is Godwinesque in its hyperbole. It's a demonization. You could have easily said he's extremely left wing and got your point across. But since communism rejects market capitalism, and if implemented would mean his personal wealth and property would be taken over by the state, and especially since he made his wealth by taking advantage of faulty currency markets and wrote a book - was on a book tour as I recall when I heard him speak - about how to modify current markets to keep the bubble crash cycles from happening, I find it hard to believe he's a closet communist. Yeah, he might be a lefty, but to call him communist doesn't make any sense outside of an attempt to demonize him and influence the opinions of people that don't think very much.
