Thread: What is making you happy right now

In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

Spent the afternoon swimming, then took the girl-monster to buy a new bikini.

    And now it's thunderstorm time.

    I love summer.

I made $171.75 at my yardsale today. Thats more than Brandy made at work , but it was nothing compared the insane amount of stuff my sister sold from her dumpster diving storage unit.

I am disappoint. This is not just any blue jacket, this is a blue jacket about doing the impossible, and kicking reason to the curb.

My chief came through. Got me 9 laptops that dual boot Ubuntu. Looks like I finally have real work to do as I rediscover what this OS can do, and I start writing up lesson plans for open source programs people might be interested in.

He also got permission from the director to start ordering smart phones so we can begin educating the masses on that front.

Amazon is selling PC Gamer, XBox (DVD), Playstation, and Nintendo Power magazines for $5 for 12 issues (in the states).

I know, I know, print media, blah blah blah.
    I still ordered all 4.

An old friend of my son's came by the house, hadn't seen him in ages. He's about 6'4" now, braces off, filled out from skinny pimply swimmer to man stuff. Switched from glasses to contacts, complexion cleared up.

He brought over some air rifles to "play commando". He still loves root beer floats, and giggles like he did when he was ten.

Yesterday at around 11:40 i emailed Fearne Cotton (hot!) and asked her to play Metallica - Enter Sandman on Radio 1.

    She did.

    I rock.

    It rocked.

    She rocks.

Radio 1 finally played something awesome and not whatever 14 year old girls love or whatever is on in a Topshop.

The world finally makes sense. For now.

    Yeah Fearne's alright

Aye my lady listens to a lot of Radio 1. Mainly cos she thinks Chris Moyles is funny.

Cool I only know BBC radio 1 from those Essential Mixes, which are pretty neat. There's not a single Dutch radio station that would play a two hour mix without interrupting for commercials all the time

I cleaned out my closets, and made a pile of clothes I don't wear anymore to give to charity More room for my stuff + doing something good, yay

Netherlands doesn't have a national radio network?

Commercials suck, feel for you dude.

I was going to ask for them to play the MoR (Monsters of Rock) version they done at Tushino airport back in 1991. The amount of people there just made it extra special .
