Wasn't AC2 only released around last Christmas? Seems quite a quick time to go from 2 to 3. Will wait until 3 comes out then might pick up 1 and 2 from the Bargain Bin
I like the sound of Red Dead Redemption.

Amanda made me agree a few months ago to not buy any new games until either my Birthday (in 2 weeks) or I'd completed 5 that I've got. So far it still feels weird every time I go to the Trafford Centre not to buy something from Game, but I'm playing the games I've already got much more. Getting really into Batman: Arkham Asylum now.

I've got like a hundred games I haven't finished. I don't think I've fully completed more than a handful of games I own.
AC1 has been in the bargain bin for a long while, picked mine up for $5 before AC2 came out. Unless you're finally over that "DD is bad, m'kay..." wall you built, you are running out of time.
I wanted one of my houses to have a cemetery. So I built a house of wood, and occupied it with some nice, well to do Sims. The floors were wood, the walls were wood, and they had the finest of wood furniture. However all they had to cook with was a very dangerous indoor BBQ grill. Day after day they sat in fear of said grill, its untrustworthy-ness enough to drive them to go without food. They couldn't leave to eat elsewhere. I never gave them the finest of wood doors. In fact, through the use of cheat codes, I never gave them any doors. Then one day, one of them got just a little bit too hungry. He lit the grill. The finest of wood floors caught fire. He caught fire. Someone else tried to put him out. They caught fire too. And then they ran, spreading the fire even faster towards the more fearful Sims crowded, in terror, at the other side of the house.
After it all burned to the ground, I demolished the whole horrible mess, and built some new Sims a nice new house next to the finest of graveyards.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood is the game coming out this fall...kind of an AC 2.5.
Playing Mass Effect 2 for the 3rd time...tried to play the 1st one again but honestly I just get frustrated because of the improvements made in the 2nd. Playing on Insanity for the achievement and challenge, and my god is it challenging. I'm at the derelict Collector ship right now and having a hell of a time getting past the Praetorian.
Was assassins creed 2 anywhere near as bad as that massive festering pile of shit that was assassins creed 1?
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink, because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl.
Much much better actually. The devs at Ubisoft listened to the community and fixed pretty much every flaw from the 1st one.
Heh. They could have pretty much just made a new game, then.
Do you still get mercilessly butchered for speeding?
Are all four parts of the game identical in sequence and content? Is that content puddle-shallow?
Is the "free running" a case of pressing "Forward" and "X"?
Meh. Too many shitty things to mention.

There are many similar missions, but the mission types have been heavily varied, the locales are very different despite being domestic, yes running still raises suspicion because, well, it's strange for someone to be sprinting in a street where everyone else is walking. The freerunning is more fluid than in the first game and is slightly more complicated and challenging. There are more moves to learn with different buttons.
Sadly, despite variations and improvement in enemies, attacks and weapons, the combat is still fairly weak and the game overall is very easy.
Its still fun as hell though. Its so cinematic...the 2 things that dissapointed me about it though, was the music and the assassin feel of the game. The music great was great but lacked the excitment that the boss battles delivered in the first one because the music was so quiet and downtempo. As for the feel of the game, just looking at the cover of the new one gives a good impression of what I was expecting. More masks and theatrics than there really were
I'm still playing WoW quite a bit of course, but recently finished Mass Effect, and am working on Mass Effect 2. After that it will be the Dragon Age expansion. And I've been replaying Warcraft III and remembering how crappy the single-player campaigns are for an RTS. It still boggles my mind that it was developed AFTER Starcraft.
Last night as I lay in bed, looking up at the stars, I thought, “Where the hell is my ceiling?"
I rather liked War3 by the end of the campaign, but it annoyed me too at first.
Spoiler:
Never played WoW but played the original Warcraft through to 3 with most of its expansions, I loved the detail in the background and stories there. War2 has to be my all time favourite RTS, even though its probably too dated for me to play it now.
Tides of Darkness, right Rand? Loved that game, wish it worked with my computer right now...
I am currently on 4 games.

Think its about time I picked that badboy up.
