She hasn't learned that less is more yet, but she's having a fantastic time in the art club.

She looks mad, lolli. If she sighed and asked why you're taking pictures of her paintings......

I thought dead jellyfish, but apparently they are rocks.

No, she asked me to take one of her with it to so various relatives could see it. I was going to take the picture of her painting without her and her messy hair.

There is, however, very little reason for a ridiculous toothy grin while showing off artwork.

Indeed, I think its a great photo with a suitably neutral expression - she wants you to admire the painting, not the painter.

That's not a neutral expression - that's a "Don't like this painting and you'll find a dead horse's head in your bed" expression.

Or at least, based off of her rocks, what may or may not look like a dead horse.

Oh I dunno 'bout that. For kid's relatives those are great kinds of photos. For everyone else, not much reason for the artiste to be in the pic at all.

The light that once I thought compassion still casting shadows in your action
The words you shared were cold transactions that bring me to curse what you've done
When you're up there absorbed in greatness with such success you've grown complacent
I hope you scorch your many faces when you fly too close to the sun

Glinty, they sound like places in Middle Earth, nice pics.

    That place is Middle-Earth
In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

I made this b&w version of the Smoky Mountains pic:

Also this video shows how fast those clouds are moving, it also gives a slight impression of that 1600m vertical drop. It's a little shaky because I get a little vertigo when I look down that far.
