I received a resignation today that was very disappointing and more than a little surprising. I was "off site" when the resignation was given which was also peculiar. I anxiously await tomorrow to hear for myself what has taken place while I was away.

Maybe some time down the road I'll find that porn buddy clip funny, but right now I don't.

Maybe you have to become a man for that, let me give you a hug instead.

So, he landed in the hospital ER early yesterday. Not sure what happened. He belongs in an Alzheimer Unit, or 24 hr hospice care at home.....

I'm with Joker here. Two women bonding emotionally, and bam insta-porn.
Seriously, I hope the needed care and support can be found for your friend and her family. My father-in-law has Alzheimer's and is currently in a care unit. Not an easy decision to make, but it became necessary.

The power brick for my Dell 2011FP monitor popped I was worried I was gonna have to write off a several hundred monitor and rearrance my Black Friday camping in order to replace it.
Luckily I see that Amazon sells replacements for ~$11 shipped.

Filling out an online application for a non-art related service industry job. One of the questions is "When I look at the world around me, I have little hope for mankind." and then you have to respond on a scale of strongly disagree, to strongly agree, and they tell you to answer honestly and that the software they employ will be able to figure out if you're not...

    ...I'm so screwed.

Is there anybody out there?? Does anybody fucking care??

Anyone paying attention knows that The Friend's ex-wife has been staying with me. Well...he told me he would be up here either Sunday or Monday. Well shit! He is no where to be found, isn't answering his phone, (goes straight to voice mail) and has basically disappeared off the face of the earth. Funny thing is, she left here (mad as hell) about midnight last night, after saying something about the fucking dickless wonders in BFE and how they all could go rot in fucking hell, and SHE has disappeared off the face of the earth, isn't answering HER phone, and it goes straight to voice mail! BUT, his car (which she has been driving for almost a fucking month) is parked behind the Pub!

All in all, Munchkin is feeling ugly, old, tired, and unlovable!

Sorry to hear, as I told you in the Father & Son thread, my garndpa is in a similar condition. I won't visit him any more, it will not help him, and only get me down. It isn't so hard for me, but for my mother it is though. Well he is over 90, at least one can say he had his share of life.

In related news, Göttingen's university hospital may have found a vaccination against Alzheimer's. Human trials will follow in about two years. It's no cure, though.

I fucking knew it! The Friend's ex has "fallen in love" with him again! I don't know how that is gonna work, since he knows nothing about it, supposedly!

what's messing with my groove? the government... NAFTA... emission controls on highway trucks... people who don't know how to drive a 'stick' (manual transmission)... telemarketers... 'employment equity' guidelines... 40-odd tv channels, carrying mostly the same crap, only not in the same time slot... being told that i am 'eligible' for my employer's 'comprehensive benefit plan', then being told some time later that i have to pay for said benefit plan, and enrolment is mandatory... doesn't 'eligible' mean that i don't have to take it, if i don't want to??
i didn't say you DID it, i said i was going to BLAME you for it...

It's a whopping 19 degrees here right now, with just a tiny bit of dirty snow on the grass! It's supposed to get up to a whole 39 degrees later today! More of the same type temps all week...if we are really, really lucky, it might get up to a high of 43 by Friday! I HATE winter! *sobs*
