I can't believe you guys want to entice the biggest crybaby the board has ever seen to come back here. Didn't we just get rid of one? Zuchov was much more disruptive than Tear has ever been...how many different spellings did he use to come back and attack the mods with verbal insults? Whatever...just be careful what you wish for.

I found Cain hilarious! His abuse was so creative, it always made me laugh.

Always walked along the narrow line on the edge of ban-worthiness.

Was certainly an interesting place when he was around.

We just had to be polite, he was quite prepared to demod me and Rand with any excuse he could find. I believe he spoke about this very explicitly with Timothy. For whatever reason, he never felt he was in a political position to do that. Possibly because he knew we had done nothing obviously wrong, so I would simply go to my contacts at Atari (who were all gone by the time Cryptic came around) and start trouble.

I'm not totally sure to be honest. After all, on the two more serious instances when unaffiliated Atari execs got involved in those issues (from aforementioned CC vet sending them insane e-mails) we were explicitly told to end all off-topic chat on the forums and make the place "nice" by purging "not nice" people. We promptly ignored those instructions because eventually those execs melted away. Or got laid off.

Wow - so much went on behind the scenes. Wasn't aware of any of these shenanigans.
