Can we agree to disagree, then? If it only wanted to do what you said it should, then the bill would be a lot smaller and just say what you just said.
What's the point of textbook writers and all those highly paid school boards if California is just going to legislate to them every single aspect of what they should have thought of in the first place?There is a reason this bill carries the "history should be honest" tagline.
Well...Basically, this bill is stating that Edison shouldn't be favored over someone like Tesla, even though Edison is a better image of what a true blooded white american is all about. Because, honestly, Edison was a lying, thieving, asshole, and Tesla was a fucking genius badass.
Edison: lightbulbs. YOU CAN SEE IT IN YOUR HOUSE.
Tesla: crazy radio waves and death-ray man. WHUT'S A RADIO, HURR?
I just don't see any evidence of some cabal that decides who is a true-blooded white American and who isn't, and then writes textbooks on that.
