Interesting to see you do understand that makes no sense, yet you are in favour of a legal abomination like 'three strikes'.

Sentencing should be a function of the crime you have been found guilty of and the risks you pose for society. It should not be mandated by a system that lacks legitimacy if only for the fact that you are effectively put back on trial -also- for a previous crime you have been convicted of and recieved your punishment for.
