Atari have no reason to demod Timmy. As far as they'll be concerned if anyone looks in for a simplistic look the forum is under attack by a bunch of troublemakers and Timmy is doing a good job trying to keep them in line. If anything Timmy will be congratulated.

As for the timing of the Star Trek MMO and the changes - it's no coincidence. Phoxe was never even an Atari employee you see, he works for the company that publishes that game. Atari no doubt have given him admin powers to assist with the community for his game (as they do for all their sub-companies down the years) and he's gone too far. But no-one in Atari seems to care one-way or the other, the idea this came from Atari is bullshit though. It came from them.

I seriously doubt anyone at Atari cares what happens in that forum so long as no one is posting controversial topics that might embarrass the company. As long as Phoxe/Timmy is stepping on that sort of thing, why would they care what he does? It isn't like our experience there is somehow going to affect Atari sales. If they came out with a really awesome 4x space game - like an awesome Moo4 -who even among us, those directly aggrieved, that is a fan of that genre and/or dynasty, wouldn't buy it?

I actually did buy some Atari games directly because of that forum being home to us for a number of years. Heard about games I wouldn't otherwise have, and purchased some I probably wouldn't otherwise have bought. That won't be happening any more.

Combined with their recent buisness practices and history, I'd be very, very skeptical if they claimed to be publishing a really awesome 4X game. Hard to say if it'd be to the point of not buying it, but whereas before brand loyalty was enough to offset their history of shitty quality for me, that offset is gone now.

I have noticed most of threads are closed, most of those who post are banned. Those that are opened are spammed and derailed by Timmy. He is killing that forum. Nearly all threads, no matter the thread name are now about Timmy's "rules".

I already escalated the problem to first level at Atari. If he goes on, I will escalate to a higher level. I have been at Atari forums since 2000, he has been since 2004, and his infraction not only is unfair, but ridiculous.

If escalations do not work at Atari, I will escalate elsewhere. If Timmy thinks he is the owner of the company's forum for his own amusement, he is really mistaken.

I would stop if Timmy removes the infraction imposed on my account.

Intervention of Atari administrator shows finally someone is looking.
Timmy's behavior ruined AtariCC forum. Since the admin is responsible for the forum, AtariCC shows that he has been doing a poor job, so in my next escalation I would comment directly about the role of Administrator for allowing Timmy's behavior (if Timmy continues with his behavior).

The good thing is that if Timmy does not show up, we will see how much traffic this forum has. According to my calculation, except for an occassional newbie that comes to post something, there might not be too much traffic there, so I would have an argument for an escalation about forum traffic and how Timmy screwed the forum.

It's been about 01:30 hours without a single post at the AtariCC forums until now, after administrator intervention.

There are still lots of options to escalate this. I am not a troublemaker, but I stand before those who bring injustice.

In a way I'd be saving Atari employees from losing more customers. And if they hear me, Atari employees would be protecting their jobs.
