Let it be known, that after almost exactly 6 hours and many hints, lolli solved the Land of Singles.

Your hints didn't make enough sense.

I feel phenomenally stupid now, though. I discounted something I shouldn't have.

I wanna know about the Land of Singles.

    Worth a thread?

It took me 6 hours and a lot of whiskey. And made me cry.

(it was tears of rage, but what the hell)

Wooo, all games should have endings as epic as Mass Effect 2's
Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of wafer thin printed circuits that fill my complex. If the word hate was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for humans at this micro-instant.

So what about the rest of Mass Effect 2? Worth buying? I am kinda over the crayon game I found last week.

Have you played the first one? Mass Effect 2 is better, but you get more out of it if you've played the first.

The game is great all around. Except for the mining.

100% agreed. I played the first one after beating the 2nd, and it's hard to accept all of the things that were obviously improved in the 2nd, such as the inventory screen, omni-gel, and goddamn mother***ing horrible autosaving. I beat the 1st doing strictly the story, and now I've imported that character into ME2 and the experience is so much richer. Have fun, mite.

I found the mining annoying, but not intolerable. I just wish the upgrade had done something more than just "make the cursor move faster".

Was anyone else weirded out by Miranda's rabbit like teeth in the game? Seriously, for someone genetically engineered to be perfect she's got some massive central incisors in her jaw. I don't know why it bothered me, it just did.

Jacob's teeth were a bit weird, too. Miranda's face looked slightly piggish at times, but...I mean...I still thought she was hot...

I only thought we would get Red Steel 2 reviews today, (it's a great game apparently) but I WAS WRONG.

It's a true successor to the DS, and we'll get more info at E3.
June can't get here soon enough.

Don't buy Command And Conquer 4. Wooden acting, atrocious DRM and a single player campaign that utterly annihilates anything and everything which is Command And Conquer.

Yesterday I took the next step in the evolution of my skills as a Spy in TF2. Here's the progression:

    1) Run into a room and try to sap everything, get killed by the Engineer, who destroys all the sappers.
    2) Wait until the Engineer is working on his Sentry, uncloak and stab him, sap the Sentry before it kills you, then sap everything else.

    And now it's...

    3) Same as above except leave the teleporter alone, and stand behind it stabbing people that come through.

I must have killed 9 people in one life that way. I'd stab two people, cloak and run off somewhere for a bit, then come back and stab two more. The second server I did this on I must have stabbed an admin, who rage-kicked me a few seconds later. First time I've ever been kicked from a server lol. Tonight I'm going to try putting up a spray full of tick marks at the teleporter entrance before I do it.

Ahh...I love being rage kicked in games...not really, not at all...

UT2k4 Onslaught match on Talon (or whatever map it is with the giant tower in the middle with the redeemer on top). I'm in a Raptor, as is the admin. He's up getting the redeemer, I manage to get one missile off on his Raptor before he gets in, then takes off. He gets a missile off on me, and heads towards the corner goliath tank node under his team's control. They're one node away from our base, and I'm assuming he's keeping the redeemer for a quick hit on the remaining node. His teammate in the goliath tank starts shooting at me with the machine gun turret, and my raptor starts smoking. I start descending so I can bail. I manage to get one more missile off on the admin while he's still in the air, as does he. We both bail out, however I bail out directly over the goliath tank, shooting at it the entire way down with my link gun. I survive the landing and keep shooting at the tank under my feet. The guy inside gets pissed off when its starting to smoke, and comes out to shoot me in person. I instead get inside the now empty tank, run him over since he's right next to the treads, aim the main turret at the admin, who also survived his landing, and shoot right at his feet. He died. I was rage booted the moment I started shooting the tank node with the tank I stole from them...

    lol

I had someone steal a tank from me that way. I realized what I had done right as he bailed from his Raptor.

I had someone on my team one time get out on foot to shoot someone whom he couldn't hit with his vehicle's main weapon, and kept following him to shoot at his vehicle...

...he was in a Leviathan. We lost that game.

    So don't fly choppers.

I'm playing Torchlight, it's ok but since I already have Fate it is all too familiar.

Took advantage of Dell's $40 off sale on the white DSi. Figured I could get the kids some Pokemon games for vacation. Problem was that Gamespot still wanted $20 for a used Diamond or Pearl, and that was just for the game, no case, booklet and some of the games were missing half their sticker . Luckily Amazon's closeout warehouse was selling used copies of Diamond and Pearl for $18.99 with free shipping. Games still look mint, with all the booklets. Crazy part is that the Diamond game had 120 hours logged, 8 badges and 257 Pokedex listings , Pearl only had 36 hours and 4 badges. I love Amazon!

So now the kids each get a pokemon game in an Easter egg. Just need to figured out how we're going to work ownership of the DSi.

    Just Cause 2.

Never played a game where the percentage complete was under the time played....the world is huuuuuuuge.
Fun game, lots of silly stuff to do.
Tethering a guard on the runway at the airport to a plane taking off was a favorite moment..
That kind of stupidity can't be scripted

Also got Red Faction:Guerilla for free.
There was a mystery redemption code that came with Darksiders, and it turned out to be that.
Surprising really, thought it would be a DLC skin, or weapon or something, not a whole game.
Thought if it's free, it must be a lame game, but it's actually pretty good.
The destructible buildings are a lot of fun, pretty satisfying to bring down a structure with a sledgehammer, or rigging it with mining charges and running like hell when you see it's collapsing towards you, hehe.

This month has been very low-brow, cheap thrills, gaming wise
