I think this was only added for skyrim? So it can't be reversed for others.

Not really a "WTF" issue since I've come to expect it, but still: tonight, I'm getting multiple emails about the basic structure of a final research paper that is due tomorrow. Now I realize that students like procrastinating, but waiting until the last 12 hours for a paper that's worth a substantial portion of their final grade? Despite me mentioning this paper just about every week for the last 2 months. And this is in a college where the overwhelming majority of students are pretty damn smart.

Makes perfect sense to me, Icky. Well not needing to ask questions about basic structure, but waiting for the last minute. 12 hours is more than enough.

Pretty much par for the course, Loki.

It's a great idea if what you're looking for is a terrible grade and a terrible day from not enough sleep.

    I never made terrible grades

Yeah but you never had Loki grading you and hopefully didn't let your teachers know in advance you started your papers a few hours before they were due

Yeah, can you think of a worse signal to send your teacher than to ask about how to write a term paper (~10 pages with several different and complicated sections) the night before it's due? Other than asking things you'd have seen in the syllabus if you looked I suppose.

Yes, see, I'd never have to do that.

This made me want to look up what exactly the Texas statr guard is, and it appears someone edited their wiki page That is, unless they are actually called the toy soldier guard, have an anti-Obama squad, and partbof their official mission is to get in the way of the Tx National guard and civil authorities

Curious how long it will stay like that.

"Nobody's going to hold you up and carry you around...If you're not going to work hard enough to be qualified to get the job...well then, you don't deserve the job." "That might be harsh," remarked interviewer Niharika Acharya. Turning to co-interviewee Pierre-Jean Cobut, FWD.us's poster child for increasing the H-1B visa cap, Acharya asked, "Do you agree with him?" "Actually, I do," replied PJ, drawing laughs from the crowd.
Nice display of the ethics of capitalism at work - disparage your workers as being unqualified when in reality they're just too expensive for your tastes. But that's something you can't really admit.

I mean, if they weren't qualified they wouldn't have gotten the jobs in the first place and that they're actually training their replacements shows that they're even better.

    But, sure, they're incapable.

    Scum.

This is what happens when you get attention-seeking idiots who conflate economic incentives with morality.

Isn't one of the requirements for a H-1B that they're paid top wages instead of less than everyone else?

So the guy deliberately didn't take insurance when he was healthy. Then got sick and couldn't work, suddenly he expects to get insurance (isn't that what fox would call a moocher?). Too late to sign up for obamacare, too low income for private insurance. And would have qualified for obamacare if the republicans in his state hadn't opted out of it. But whose fault is this?

Lang, a Republican, says he knew the act required him to get coverage, but he chose not to do so. But he thought help would be available in an emergency. He and his wife blame President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats for passing a complex and flawed bill.

The guy is 49 and only had $9k in savings? Really?

  26. #3386
It's okay, taxpayers will pay all his bills forever!

  27. #3387
And he only managed to save that much despite never paying for health insurance...Bets on whether he actually paid money into social security?

  28. #3388
He ran up $9,000 in bills and exhausted his savings.

Couldn't that mean he still owes 9 grand after going broke? 9 grand for a hospital stay and testing is really really low in the US, especially for the ER.
Then again, this guy seems full of bad decisions.

Leave it to the liberals to bail his ass out.

Really? We're talking about super stats who are very rich, wear extremely expensive dresses, fly with private jets, etc but the champagne sparks outrage? People are stupid. I am pretty sure that the video clip was a lot more expensive than that bottle anyway.

Oh and this is pretty wtf as well:

I should be more surprised that people are dumb enough to think that its nothing more than a prop provided by that company.

Jay Z owns the company behind Armand de Brignac. That was not 20 grand she poured out.
