You could make them flexible

Flexible cogwheels? Just think about it for a second, Flixy. You'll see why that might pose a slight problem![]()

It should be doable to some extent. They don't have to align perfectly in all planes, nor do they have to be infinitely flexible.

Blizzard has announced the gold and RMAH for Diablo III will be shutdown on March 14th. Awesome news (especially if they also fix the drop rates) but such an announcement also hints at the date they are aiming to release their first expansion.

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/50...-sonneborn.htmLondon bankers should be wary at Germany's national elections, as one of the candidates for chancellor plans to raze the financial district to the ground as part of his foreign policy.

Wooooooooohooooo just hit Plat in League of Legends. =)
Documentary won the film festival's jury prize!
Apart from the bad jet lag, my 3 weeks in America was beyond brilliant. I have to hand it to you yanks, you've got one heck of a country. A few points:
1) Your hospitality is second to none.
2) San Francisco is quirky.
3) Yosemite National Park took my breath away - the views from Glacier Point are magnificent.
4) Carmel-by-the-Sea is full of charm and ladies who could teach a young man a thing or two.
5) Monterey Bay and it's aquarium was a delight.
6) Less said about LA the better - only highlight is seeing George Benson at Hollywood Bowl & Universal Studios.
7) San Diego is a place I'd happily live at.
8) USS Midway =.
9) Las Vegas is great for people watching.
9.1) Las Vegas brought me and my party luck.
10) You're a wasteful nation, I don't understand the 'free' refills on soda drinks. I hardly touched mine but for some deranged reason people felt the need to replenish my supply.
11) Asking if a Brit wants cold tea is a fucking disgrace but I'll let you off since you asked nicely.
12) Half & Half is morally wrong!
13) You seem to have a fetish with the UK - it's cute.
14) Your fuel prices are brilliant.
15) Driving on the right is scary, 4 way stop signs are confusing for the uninitiated but your 'turn right on a red signal' is glorious. Kudos to you!
16) Hoover Dam =.
Pictures to follow.
Happy you enjoyed, Lor!
the refilling thing is a sign of the waitress wanting a good tip. is their way of making them available for anything you may need/ask for/want to order.

Looks like smartphones have finally hit the same price as regular phones in terms of service costs. So I'll be going to Tmobile tomorrow to get the family on their 4 for $100 plan. So far we've got the iphone 5C (or 4 depending on deals), Nexus 4, and Nokia 521 in our sights. 3 operating systems from 3 vendors, a nice way to sample whats out there.

Refill wouldn't work over here, restaurants often make profit only with the drinks.

Ending up going with the Nokia 521 with Windows 8 and 2 LG Android phones.
I'm very impressed with how easy the Window phones are to use, while the android phones are loaded with bloatware which just adds to complications in learning how they work.

An enviable vacation, and quite the Honeymoon! Three week vacations are something few Americans ever get, paid or unpaid....let alone that kind of international travel. But I'm glad you appreciated all that the US has to offer, in so many ways, and had a memorable good time. Y'all come back now, hear?![]()
Picked up five LPs for 20 eurospink Floyd - wish you were here and animals, Neil young - harvest, bad company - bad company, and doe maar - skunk. Last one is Dutch so probably not so known here, but it's a good one!
Very! Wish you were here in particular is an excellent album! Plus they are classics, always nice to add those to your collection![]()
Today, we held a sort of secular "christening" ceremony and party for my wife's (or our) nephew, blessed (we hope) by the FSM. Good food, great company, some good news about our renovation and selling prospects and a lot family feeling that I haven't had in a while. Best of all, I saw my wife with her nephew and she was completely overwhelmed with squeeees and love. Not many months ago, she was terrified at the mere thought of even holding a baby! It was just so frickin' adorable, the high-point of an already very lovely weekend. I was like *puddle*
fortunately we'd already baked a TON of buns this weekend.
I'm also enjoying thinking about various ways to renovate the kitchen even as I'm dreading the hassle. Another thing that's making me very happy is the concept of over-the-sink cutting boards!

Going to Australia in January, this time with my gf.![]()

This wasn't my honeymoon, I had that earlier on in the year.
The US is a fantastic place and I'll be back to experience more no question about that.
In regards to Americans ever leaving your shores, why would you? Other than experiencing various cultures, I can't see why you'd go elsewhere? You have virtually everything 'in house' so to speak.
Agreed.
I'd be quite happy if all Americans could experience other cultures, languages, climates, topography, infrastructure....and see the world outside our own little bubble. No, we don't have everything 'in-house', like the Swiss Alps, African savannahs, tropical jungles. Let alone bullet trains, rapid rail, or Chunnels.![]()

Sometimes, I run across a few gems of the written word. The Economist this week had a remarkable ability to damn with faint praise:
And then not exactly happy, but I thought Tycho's post today was beautiful, especially:Originally Posted by Bagehot
