We're not playing (though we have played with two of those band, Hoods and My City Burning), but we're called Rumble Fist. Just at this festival to party And they have a lot of European bands that are probably completely unknown in the USA, since you missed some names that are pretty well known here.
Keep on keepin' the beat alive!

So, I now weigh 20 lbs less than before I got pregnant! I changed my eating (and drinking) habits and it seems to have paid off! Now to get back into shape........

@ Cat. Breast feeding can do that.

Ironical Happy: electric brown-out paved the way for my kids to actually sit down at the kitchen table, with lots of candles, and play cards! I taught them Casino, they taught me Communism. We had a blast. They said we should do no-electricity game night more often.

I'm up early after a good night's sleep, for the first time in forEVER, the sun's shining and it's a GORGEOUS day, and I just discovered the lady brought me pretty white sweet-smelling flowers yesterday and sneakily hid them in plain sight

It's gonna be a good day

Your son gets presents when its your daughters birthday?

I'm happy since I managed to turn the 39 yesterday with a minimum off fuss. Oh I got roaring drunk and partied til the sun came up but it was all very non-specific spontaneous revelry. Feel surprisingly good considering I've had fuck all sleep and put away a bottle of Jack's and Dog only knows how many shots of various spirit's, liqueurs and shooters with strange names like "Quick Fuck" and even a pink drink called a "Lesbian Joy".

Yeah - they both always include a gift for the other on their birthday wish lists, and it is usually something quite good, and always something that the other one really wants.

They prefer doing that to getting another present for themselves. We've even had discussions about it.

Interesting idea, so they give you a list of what they want which includes a gift for their brother or sister - smart kids you got there.

It works for me. I can't even remember now which of them started it, but it is their choice to continue.

I like seeing any signs of generosity. And the fact that they actually put thought into what they think the other should have is even better.

    It also reduces jealousy

And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

I got to play in the rain twice today. Good, heavy rain. The sort that soaks you instantly, makes you cold while you are in it, and cools the outside air down heaps. It's 79°F right now.

I just hope the weird little man who lives next door enjoyed the show.

I want some rain! My poor yard is practically dead.

K smiles when she's awake now. Sooooooo cute!

We're in the middle of our third heavy rain today. We played in the huge puddle at the bottom of the street.

And I'm sure the green things appreciate it, too.

    Aww, smiling baby!

My 3rd magazine subscription, PC Gamer, has come in. Includes a DVD thats called an EcoDisc. 100% recyclable, thin as card stock, and very flexible. Never seen it before.

    Now I wait for Xbox
