My roommate has been having problems staying connected to my server, so it doesn't look like it's too stable atm. pm me your ip if you set one up and I'd be glad to give it a try.

That's what YOU think. mwah ha ha just you wait. You might miss the days when she was a cooing lumpy smile wearing a diaper, content to be in a cage, I mean--crib.

This was a hard one to pin. Fuck you oldmunchkin for showing me this and then going off line! It's very sweet, and since munch and I are crazy cat ladies, it seems so nice and happy.

Only if we ignore that many PEOPLE would love to have homes like this. But that would go in the other thread about WTF or messed up grooves. Anyway. It's still a happy sort of thing. Those kitties are living quite the life. It's smile worthy and heart warming. Can practically hear them purrrrrr

I'm going to Fuerteventura for a week tomorrow. I probably wont post here, unless I get cheap WiFi.

    So have a nice week

    Awesome!

Brazilian Steakhouse dinner last night. For anyone who doesn't know what Brazilian dining is, at this particular restaurant you flip over a card at your place from "No, thank you" to "Yes, please". Once it's on yes please, a swarm of staff will come to you asking if you'd like one of their 20 meats from a sword, and until you flip the card over they will not stop. Baby Top Sirloin, Lamb Chop, Barbecue Ribs, Rib-eye, Swordfish, Salmon, Sausage, Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon, etc. It's extremely likely that I ingested 400 grams of protein last night. Oh, and I didn't even mention the kick ass salad bar, appetizers, and Brazilian limeade.

The best part? It was all on somebody else's tab.

What took them so long?! Way to go, Bitter. We can all say we knew you when....before fame finds you.

    I am hardly surprised.

Just heard the crap that goes for IT structure at my workplace is going to be replaced by something that's worthy of the name. I'm working on a 5 y.o. PC that needs 5 minutes to boot and log on to the network. It needs about the same time to shut down.
    Congratulations America

Went on a 4 day adventure ride through the southern half of WA and had a fucking fantastic time.

Riding the highways and back-roads with a group of friends by day, sitting around the camp fire eating and drinking as much first class food and booze as we desired by night. Taking a chef with you and a truckload of food and booze does make the whole concept of roughing it in the wild far more tolerable.

Met some interesting people, including some hilarious backpackers from Essex working in a pub in the middle of bum fuck nowhere.

As great as the 4 day weekend was, it is great to be home again.

The Friend's ex-wife just appeared with...a pack of smokes! Of course, she and I, (and GGT) are all about the same age...meaning we don't think that is the first of the deadly sins!

Just finished last shift at work, on holiday until 10/10/10 now. Cool date to be on holiday until

3 days to go, move on Friday.

It's so much fun to move into a home that is "yours". Even if the bank actually owns part of it still, it's yours. It makes a difference! Enjoy your holiday too, even if you are going to be "working" thru part of it moving!

Tomorrow is my last day of work, and if all goes well I should be ready to leave around 16.00

Oh, and did I already say that the bank doesn't own any part of my home (yeah I know I did, but it still makes me feel giddy when I think about it)
    Congratulations America

Thanks for all the birthday wishes peeps.

My lady surprised me with tickets to see Stephen Fry live at the Royal Albert Hall in town on monday. He's only on for 4 nights so tickets were hard to come by.

Was a fabulous night. He never ceases to astonish me. I want his babies.

Coworker used to have a hot neighbor, when she moved away she gave the coworker her Wii and game collection, all girly and childish games. Since this is the first console coworker has owned since his NES I don't think he understands how places like Gamestop work yet.

So he gave the games to me! SimCity Creator, Heavenly Guardian, Nights Journey of Dreams and some rejected Board Game collection. Not games I'm overly interested in, but Ocean's birthday party is an alarmingly short period away, and I don't have to worry about shopping now; and maybe these will stop her from messing up my Super Mario Wii save files....

We went swimming. The nice thing is that even though it is getting beastly hot during the day, it cools down at night, so the water actually felt like something other than bathwater.

The TWF .net URL hasn't been added to the filter at work yet, so I can post at work again. For a while at least.

Work has given me Christmas early this year. Just spent the morning going over all the new tech gadgets they purchased for me. They did this mostly without asking me for input, or me asking them to be purchased, but I'm not complaining about that. Since they could only buy 1 of each device, they went for the top of the line items. I now have an Ipad, Ipod touch, Sony Ereader, and Flip video camcorder; all locked in my closest waiting for me to play with them. Just in time to learn their workings so I can start classes in December when these start showing up under christmas trees.

Not happy so much as a slight chuckle, but Googling 'problems with id on body' turns up a whole lot of stuff completely unrelated to HTML and if there is anything wrong with <body id="index"> ...

    Congrats

Hehe, I just got an email from my boss to all employees stating

Hey, this may not be needed, but I would like to stress that sleeping during irradiations is not allowed. Between or after irradiations, sleeping is of course allowed.
Sounds like someone fell asleep on the job last week And hey, it still means I'm allowed to sleep about a quarter of my time there.
Keep on keepin' the beat alive!

Stuffed green peppers! I know that sounds stupid, but I haven't had a good stuffed pepper in 2 or 3 years. I finally got off my lazy ass and made some today. I made me one and Mommymunchkin and The Kid get the other three! Everyone in the Munchkin family is happy tonight!
