Copy probably painted by Leonardo da Vinci's pupils in the same era. Made me notice a lot of things I never did before about the original. That Mona Lisa is wearing a veil, and that she did have eye brows. I wonder what the value will be of the copy.
Tomorrow is like an empty canvas that extends endlessly, what should I sketch on it?

NOTE: This image is just for the LOLs, which is the intention of this thread
As I've said numerous times before, the smug politicization that some posters bring to this thread is lame.

But I agree with Wraith that this one is particularly insane to the point of nonsense.

A habit beget by yourself, or at very least heavily encouraged? Speak not ill for that which justly hammers against what you perceive as right, speak against that which by your self-professed creed hampers the dialogue the community chooses.
In the future, the Berlin wall will be a mile high, and made of steel. You too will be made to crawl, to lick children's blood from jackboots. There will be no creativity, only productivity. Instead of love there will be fear and distrust, instead of surrender there will be submission. Contact will be replaced with isolation, and joy with shame. Hope will cease to exist as a concept. The Earth will be covered with steel and concrete. There will be an electronic policeman in every head. Your children will be born in chains, live only to serve, and die in anguish and ignorance.
The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

In my months of complaining about smug political pictures in this thread and my near-total absence of posting political pictures...when did I heavily encourage this?

  7. #2527
As opposed to your months of absence? I see how it is. Forgive me my crime of speaking towards you, lest you have dire thoughts!

Err ... Britain needs it's own little spastic subsection in that, cos it uses bits of metric and bits of other systems.

(Looking at OG's Superbowl photo) Huh, I never even noticed the girl flipping off the camera. I must be very desensitized to such stuff. I did notice the screen glitch around that time, so maybe that was when NBC was scrambling to censor it. But I thought it was just the live feed freaking out at the time.

Who? That tiny island? Of course, it will get a subsection right next to East Timor.

Well, considering that that tiny island actually defined the modern usage of the inches, feet, yards and miles which feature so prominently in the pic concerned, I felt it at least deserved an honourable mention.

The US system is based on duodecimal mumbo jumbo. If you think about it it makes perfect sense as the measurements are usually easily divisible by 12 or by factors of 12 and are thus readily turned into--and manipulated as--fractions.
