"House Judiciary Chairman Robert Goodlatte said Page has known for months that the panel has sought her testimony, and the committee will use "all tools at our disposal" to obtain it. If a witness does not respond to a subpoena, the full House can vote to hold her in contempt of Congress.
"It appears that Lisa Page has something to hide," Goodlatte said."
Getting fun.
No, still boring, other than being another illustration of how far house Republicans have fallen. Given their insistence on a closed hearing for Strzok it's more likely house Republicans have something to hide. You're really exposing your Trumpism here, with every post.
"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."
subpoena issued on saturday.
forced to wait 3 hours to review materials related to her interview
denied said materials
denied the scope of the interview
denied a reschedule for after requested materals are produced
goes to show how far outside the law these people want to operate just to get morons like lewk whipped into a frenzy.

It's bizarre. Lewk seems to have aged 40 years.

My god, Gowdy and Goodlatte are truly the biggest jackasses in the entire circus-troupe of jackasses that is the GOP. While it was immensely satisfying to see them both get pimp-slapped by Strzok after their interminable cringeworthy self-important rants, it is extremely unsettling to see the depths to which influential American legislators have fallen. This disease is likely to be incurable.

You guys have to see these clips:

The best part is that you can see how fucking embarrassed the GOP shills are when their attempts at grandstanding instead lead to having their weakness and ignorance exposed for everyone to see.

The one before this clip is even worse. Goodlatte is a fucking clown.

"FBI Agent Peter Strzok conspired with his in-house lover to leak anti-Trump stories to the media in spring 2017 when he headed the Russia probe into the Trump campaign, a congressman said on Monday.
Rep. Mark Meadows, North Carolina Republican, sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein saying a House task force had just received a new shipment of Justice Department documents.
“Our review of these new documents raises grave concerns regarding an apparent systemic culture of media leaking by high-ranking officials at FBI and DOJ,” Mr. Meadows said. “Review of these new documents suggest a coordinated effort on the part of the FBI and DOJ to release information in the public domain potentially harmful to President Donald Trump’s administration.”
Mr. Meadows provided an example.
On April 10, 2017, Mr. Strzok text-messaged Lisa Page, his lover and then-FBI counsel, to discuss a “media leak strategy.”
“I had literally just gone to find this phone to tell you I want to talk to you about media leak strategy with DOJ before you go,” Mr. Strzok said."
But of course still nothing to see here, right?
Amazing how your burden of proof changes depending on who's presenting the evidence.

So who y'all believe? Rosenstein or Page?
"The New York Times broke the news about Rosenstein's idea on Friday, characterizing the taping comments as well as talk of invoking the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to oust the president as being legitimate considerations. However, sources in follow-up reports from the Washington Post and NBC News pushed back, saying the covert recording remark was made sarcastically or jokingly.
But one notable person in the room, Page, thought otherwise. Two sources familiar with the situation said Page, who wrote a memo about that meeting, told the Daily Beast she took the secret taping comment seriously.
