Thread: Kenosha shootings

  1. #1

    Default Kenosha shootings

This is a developing story, but current reporting suggests the perpetrator is pathetic loser and 17-y-o right wing militia member Kyle Rittenhouse, who drove across state lines with an AR-15 with the intention of killing people.

Charges won't stick as this was clear self defense. In both videos he is clearly attempting to retreat and only fires once he has to.

Imagine if the roles were reversed though. Black guy gets chased by a white mob of Trump supporters. He fires in self defense, lauded as a hero by the media. You damn well know that is how it would go down.

Have you seen the video footage? If so - was he assaulted first or did he fire first?

Minus the part where he did this with a gun he didn't have the right to wield and that he transported illegally across state lines.

Let's play pretend Loki. Let's say he was 18 and he did live in Kenosha. Would his actions be justified or not?

Also fun fact the man chasing him is (errr was) a sex offender. Can't imagine a jury is going to think this young man should have just lied down to take whatever that monster wanted to do to him.

Wow, you're actually getting weirder with time. Didn't think that was possible, but I guess that's what your diseased cult does to people.

Have you looked at the video? Did you see him get chased by the sex offender who abused a minor? And then afterwards did you see him get chased by the crowd? Did you see in both instances he attempted to de-escalate by retreating?

I suppose Lewk would have preferred that the crowd chasing him would have just shot him. After all, they had good reason to think he's a criminal, and he's always extremely happy when suspects get shot.

The reaction of the police to the shooter is mind boggling though. Someone who may possibly be reaching for a knife which isn't actually touched is a threat and is shot multiple times in the back. A guy who just killed someone and shot several others while still holding his gun.. ignored.
Keep on keepin' the beat alive!

I'm sure those are all details the shooter knew at the time. Interesting to see you support a violent felon who fled across state lines rather than immediately surrender himself to the police.

I'm curious, would you be ok with someone going armed to a Trump rally, intentionally provoke the crowd, and then use that anger of the crowd as a reason to mow them all down? Is that what you think stand your ground means?

Say what you like about that loony conspiracy theory, but at least it's an ethos; Lewk's just a creepy, gutless little groyper with his head stuck firmly up his ass.

Looks like this kid was below the legal age for open carry in Wisconsin, so he was straight up murdering people while breaking the law, he won't get to hide behind self defense.

Let's start with - has everyone watched the video? If you haven't, go watch it.

    Now questions for whoever.

    1. In any of the videos you watched who is the aggressor?
    2. Does Kyle attempt to retreat before opening fire?
    3. Does Kyle shoot anyone who didn't assault him?
    4. Do you believe that someone has the right to defend themselves when attacked?

Strange you seem to think that self defense is the exclusive domain of the guy with his finger on the trigger.

You think people trying to catch a felon who are then gunned down by said felon are the ones guilty of a crime? I thought you wanted vigilantes to hunt down felons?

Kyle Rittenhouse did not appear for an extradition hearing scheduled Friday in Lake County Circuit Court and will remain in Illinois while he faces charges in a deadly shooting during protests in Kenosha.

Rittenhouse requested to waive his presence at the hearing and for more time so that he could hire his own legal team. A hearing on the status of his extradition has been set for Sept. 25 at 9 a.m.

"We also arranged for him to have a phone call with his mother this morning," a representative for Rittenhouse, Jennifer Snyder, said during the proceedings. The hearing took less than 10 minutes.

Now admit you were wrong like a good bitch.

He provoked the crowd and then used excessive force. When people tried to apprehend him for committing a crime, he tried to kill them all. The guy was clearly not prepared for this kind of confrontation and panicked. This is why 17-year-olds shouldn't carry around AKs, and they certainly shouldn't be carrying AKs to a hostile protest.

Once again, do you think it's acceptable for someone to go armed to a protest, provoke the protesters, and then mow them down when some of them respond to the troll bait?

Show me the evidence he provoked the crowd. And if his goal was to provoke the crowd why wouldn't he stand his ground and then fire? Why would he try to disengage and run away?
