Default What kind of processor can make good use of an SSD + not kill Windows 7?

    Mobile ones I mean.

    A dual-core Atom D525? Eg. the Asus 1215N-U3?

One of the CULV processors--budget (eg. pentium or celeron) or C2D?

Just trying to find a nicely balanced configuration for a Windows 7 laptop, with a processor that can actually make good use of an SSD and that can handle Windows 7 (sans the flashiest flash) and LOTS of browser tabs (with lots of flashy flash ) without too many problems.

Why not find out what processor is used in other computers that use SSD's and Windows 7 (or OSX as I believe there are also Macs with this setup)? By that I mean pre-built ones, without options for configuration, although looking at the Mac might be best since those are generally guaranteed to work.

Wouldn't this be a motherboard chipset issue and not really a CPU processor issue?
Either way, even the worse chipset + SSD combos are faster than a harddrive.

Heavily tabbed browsing...that sounds like a RAM issue.
