I think my digicam is broken (as can be seen by the stripes in the picture)
When the stars threw down their spears
And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

Could it be fluorescent lights and the wrong shutter speed?

With the mustache, the sort of sneer look on your face, add a tuxedo and you'd make a nice maitre d at a french restaurant.

Thats not a sneer. Looks like he just farted and realised he'd followed through... Wondering if anyone has noticed...
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink, because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl.

Hey BTA - do you have a twin brother who lives in Georgia?

Seriously, you look disturbingly like someone I know.

Anyone suggest a way for me to become less pale?

You should post a pic of the super smart cat. I don't think it's the one in you avatar.

Guarding the apartment from Squirrels, Birds, and all manner of creatures that threaten to invade! He fetches, too, which I didn't teach as a kitty he just started doing it.

I had a cat that did something similar. He was trying to stare out his own reflection in the window, further proving that cats are retarded.

That's too bad your cat was retarded, Spawnie. My cat, otoh, isn't. There is probably a squirrel or bird on the patio since I put seeds and nuts out. The wall behind my cat's right side would be splattered with squirrel blood and guts a few days after this photo. No more unsupervised kitty outside after that

Why? My cat eats rabbits, moles, voles, rats, mice, lizards, birds...I hardly have to feed her myself.

edit: It's not really my cat, it's my neighbor's, but its been living here in the barn for 6 years. The neighbors gave up retrieving her 5 years ago.

I don't live on a farm for a start. Squirrels can be viscious, so there's a worry there. And lastly, cleaning up sprayed squirrel guts and blood all over the wall and getting rid of the corpse is a pain

My little killer kitty delivers me corpses on a regular basis. Usually half-eaten. Sometimes he just leaves their little innards. And feathers. He shares his rabbits with the better cat, though.
