    Default teevee sucks

Now that I have your attention.

    Yeah, you know I do.

What teevee shows do you watch? Current series, really. Although if you have one that's off the air that you want to gush about, feel free.

List it for me. I know what the mafia likes, just curious about the rest of you now.

*moves on to next Lost episode*

    NCIS
Faith is Hope (see Loki's sig for details)
If hindsight is 20-20, why is it so often ignored?

I watch Bones on occasion, but other then that I only watch Numb3rs every Friday. Not much of a TV person.

I did watch Gurren Lagann recently as well, but that was Hulu, so I don't think that counts.
    I enjoy blank walls.

    According to Jim;
Friends, Southpark and King of Queens reruns

Only watch broadcasts when Brandy and I are home together, (ie, late at night) otherwise lately its been Guildwars or me and Brent playing Army of Two.

Lolli knows my answer, but I'm going to give it anyways, in no particular order: Burn Notice, House, Supernatural, 30 Rock, (edit: Dexter). There's a few others, but those are the only ones I'd really recommend to others.

I was pretty sure they were going to renew it when most recent episodes have been filler episodes, with only 9 or so episodes left in season 5. Unless they were going to rush the pacing, you can't really wrap up coming up with and implementing an effective plan to kill Lucifer, then whatever else happens afterwards. They have enough time to do that, then end with some cliffhanger where they either off Lucifer, or try to off him and Lucifer brings out or reveals something worse than him. I really do hope they end it soon though. Like you've said, the series is good, but the story is coming to an end and it will be better off if its well done, instead of drawn out unnecessarily...

...also here is something I don't understand at all. Why are the brothers afraid for their lives when threatened by any person or creature that isn't in on the fact that they're the vessels? For instance the wraith, the old forest god, or the stupid witchcraft practicing teenagers? The host of heaven has said that its going to keep resurrecting Dean, and the demons are going to keep bringing back Sam until they both say yes to Michael and Lucifer...so...?

On another note [adult swim] is now broadcasting the reboot of Full Metal Alchemist. Sadly I have missed the first episode and it doesn't look like they're doing reruns during the week. Damn.

If I wanted to overthink it, when they come back from the dead they presumably wouldn't have those nifty sigils carved into their ribs anymore, making it easy for the Angels to find them. I imagine the heavenly host can be a lot more convincing in person. Same goes for the demons if Sam is dragged to hell. Even ignoring that, they'd be out of the fight for however long it took them to get resurrected.

    Horizon

And anything sciency or history-y I can get my grubby mittens on through Pirate Bay. I just found a 20 plus episode CNN docu about the Cold War which is really excellent.

    Indeed I was not.

I was a fan of Tour of Duty. And turned off BSG after the pilot (good move on my part).

Did you ever watch Ross Kemp: Return to Afghanistan series?

  22. #22
Nope, but I have seen the ads. Interesting enough to watch a few episodes to see what's what. I'm on the look out at the moment for; How the Earth Made Us. I think it's a BBC thing. But I'm in no hurry, I have about 20 hours of stuff still on my to watch list.

It's quite a good series, worth a look IMO. I borrowed the DVD from my father a while back as i haven't got SkyTV so i couldn't watch it.

I almost forgot another one of my favourite tv shows.

It's called American Politics. Great, great fun.

Oh and the Daily Show. Who have a lot of misses, but some very good hits as well.

I generally hate series. I'll watch the occasional NCIS. Otherwise it's basketball or movies.

I find it far better when the series has a definitive end, or is just an informational show. Otherwise they just drag it out forever...

constant "will-they, won't they", progress in tiny increments--often ending at dead ends--fear of termination... get enough of that at work =P
