Just finished season 2 of The Affair.
The dual-perspective approach worked as well as it did in the first season, where each show comprises much the same scenes repeated twice, but from the differing perspectives of two different people.
Pretty good. It's clear that there were 2 seasons planned from the start, as references made in the first are explained in the second.
Season 3 is being made, but its clear this hasn't been planned. However, they managed three big twists in the final episode, with a cliffhanger at the end.
