not really, I haven't got a clear concept of what 'European' means.
. You're not so much hostile to something tagged as American
indeed, I very often see the US as a workable role model
as you're slightly hostile to anything that isn't European
again, no. I can be quite hostile towards things that don't fit my believes, those might be mistaken for 'European', but I am way off the 'European' mainstream.
. And if you like something, than you start rationalizing ways to make it European in nature or origin.
    no.
    Congratulations America

Hazir, if you are called "antiAmerican" because you point out what is wrong, instead of what is great of US, you are indeed proUS, because by pointing out elements to improve Americans can improve things they may not see because of a cultural blind spot.

Of course, as you say things americans do not like to hear (basically how not-so-cool things are in US) you should be labeled "antiEgo".
Only people with a big national ego may feel offended.
A real patriot who may want to improve the country should praise you.

Before september 2008 right before the credit crunch, I said in another forum that US unemployment would be a problem, because there were signs.
I said that a real patriot would sacrifice his pocket to keep employees, instead of practicing outsourcing and downsizing.
I was labeled "antiUS", "socialist" and I got a warning for "trolling" and then another for "country bashing" from 2 different fascist moderators in that forum.
Who is the anti US or the socialist nowadays?

I just said something they did not want to hear.
    Does it make me antiAmerican?
If they have acted sooner, they may have done something that would have prevented the pain.

There are a few links that may lead you to be labelled as antiUS, if you post them:

The end of the American dream?

US global dominance 'set to wane'
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7741049.stm

Why? Because they want everyone to say how great US system is working, even if it is not, because of incompetent politicians.
