I am only against the wearing of religious symbols if it really isn't compatible with the office (judges and the likes) and those 'religious symbols' which are anti-social in nature (yes, the face-covering veil). Otherwise I don't care much for what people choose to wear or not to wear regardless of location.

If I said so, or appeared to say so, then I should have been more precise. I do not, however make such an exception for the face covering veil. Because that I think should indeed be illegal anywhere in the public sphere. No matter how adamant people are that it is a religious requirement.
