I just want to start out on the right foot and explain a little why I said the things I said on the other forums. I was simply tired of all the "I quit and I'm leaving" threads. The point of my many replies was not to lessen the seriousness of the issues bat rather refocus our attention to what is important. Yea I know it sounded kinda harsh as if I didn't really see or understand the community, but that's not the case at all and I'm sorry for the way it sounded. My comments were addressed more to the new guys (ones who've been a member for less than 2 months) than to the veterans of the community. Most of the new guys seemed as though they were just jumping on the bandwagon without even having the full understanding of what was taking place. To me that's just childish. Then we have all the stupid porn threads. Come on! Like that's really necessary!

Anyway just thought I would clarify a few things, as I can't always seem to gather my true feelings together prior to making a post. I need to work on that, because sometimes my words come across the wrong way.

Being new doesn't change the sincerity of the opinions or statements made. you don't have to be somewhere for a given amount of time to recognize bullshit when it's flung in your face. I agree the constant new threads was getting tiresome, but blasting people for stating their continued displeasure with a total lack of decency and respect in the handling of the matter is wrong.

On the other hand Weber, that Forum deserves to go down in flames with its new rules. What Atari/Phoxe, whoever, are doing is destroying a community that has existed for almost 9 years without their dictatorial rule. Not only do they deny the raison d'etre of the CC, but they also act as if 'we' haven't acted with admirable restraint over the years. Our fiercest fights weren't all that bad and virtually everybody held back on the issue of 'adult' themes.

Sure, it's not nice behaviour to flood a forum with countless flame threads or even porn, but these jackasses sure had it coming.

Bitter Jeweler hated me at first two... Lolli even more so. Then They realized I'm just a good ole Georgia Redneck who doesn't mean anybody any harm, and now they love me for my faults (well, they make me think they love me).

For some reason some of the regulars are resistant to new members, while others of us take them in with open arms (as long as they are not total douche bags). I for one am glad you are with us, and with time, Lolli will preach a bit less hate, and BJ will slowly start to come around till where he just ignores your post (again, like he does me. :P) and you'll fit in just fine. Glad to have you on board brother.
