crazy coincidence, we were discussing this on the road the other day, and someone mentioned that a lot of this was likely caused by interracial relations, and sooner later mocca will be the normal skin color. So what happens to titles like black and white? what do we call each other?

    first response was "American."

The percentage of interracial babies went up from 5% a decade ago to 7% today. We're a long way from an interracial society.

Depends on the source of your numbers, and how far back they go. Annual hospital records and birth certificates are different from US Census data that's only collected every ten years. Demographic patterns over several decades, and multiple generations, are better than any decade's snap shot in time.

perhaps, but I think the last generation of parents who were truly against it are dying off. I suspect its going to jump a great deal higher by the time the kids of our generation start fooling around.

You're right in that the social stigma is getting weaker (though it's far from gone). But there are various societal factors that will maintain a low level of interracial births. Those range from neighborhood segregation, to family friends, to segregated schools, to vast inter-racial inequalities in income and wealth.

Neat. I wonder when it will be considered socially unacceptable in certain circles to date/marry within your race.

Wait, what? Sounds like you're mixing US Census and hospital/medical data (that tracks racial birth rates) with other consumer surveys, or BLS, or something else.

It's an RPG. It's probably not as shootery as you think, and can played so that it's barely shootery at all.

Nein, I don't really have time/computing platforms for games like that these days.

Sounds like a Sci Fi Dragon Age:Origins (the only good game of that series IMO).

Dragon Age's attempt to overly mimic Mass Effect is what made the game suck.

What? Dragon Age was awesome. Dragon Age 2 was different and had some down sides but held as a game on its own without the comparison to Origins it stands up there as a unique action RPG that is worth playing by anyone who likes the genre.

I was referring to the changes made to the 2nd game. As in they took the success of the original, used the name, and created a fantasy version of Mass Effect.

The story (and detail of the story) is incredible...except for the last 20 min of ME3.

    HBO should do a series...
