I did the Vigil with my first character, doing the Priory next. No complaints. You don't actually stick with them for too long though, so try not to agonize over the decision for too long.
Then I shall give the Vigil a shot first I think, I hear the others have more original and fun lines but Vigil is straightforward

Priory has a slightly horrible and frustrating quest - whereby you have to run along a windy ridge in a cavern - you keep getting blown off entirely at random, dying, and having to start again, over and over. So be warned.
