    Will it have a US vs China scenario?
    Is there going to be a second Falklands war scenario?
    Is it going to have a Star Wars scenario?
    Is there going to be a war of sexes?

    War is the highest demonstration of love an philanthropy, and the easiest way to settle a dispute. There are no rules, similar to Timmy's moderation. It is a war against evil all the time (how to defeat the evil Timmy).
    It comes from the german word "werra" that comes from the term "WTF" in the time of the german-cambodian war in the year nineteen twenty eleven.

    Civilization will only allow one military unit per hex, which eliminates the stacks of doom that have been such a franchise fixture. And since that means only one unit can garrison a city, combat has moved away from city sieges and instead focuses on movement and position outside of the cities.
    Um...

    The game has obviously also been influenced by Civilization Revolution for the consoles
    Er....

    It's all an attempt to make the game more accessible without compromising on the depth or details.
    I hear this so often, and the developers almost always forget the last clause in that sentence.

    Review

    Civilization V is one of the best turn-based strategy games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Whether teaming up with my friends for some multiplayer, or simply losing a whole night of sleep to the game’s endlessly replayable single player, this is one game that any strategy enthusiast, or, hell anyone strat-curious should check out. Sure, I miss some of the deeper inter-civilization relations that the more defined religion and government setup brought in Civilization IV, but that’s nothing anyone new to the series will even think twice about. With all the tips, advisers and tools in place, this is the first Civilization for PC that I feel is worth just about every person’s time. Go forth and create, subdue, and exploit. Do as Firaxis has done, and bring Civilization to the masses.
    Sounds pretty favorable. I have the thing preloaded, natch. Will play it tomorrow.

    PCGamer gave it a 93. Review really made me want to play it, like AoE grown up with a crack addiction and giant death robots.

    But I don't think I could handle a game like that time wise, even if its been reworked to keep the game pace from stalling.

    Funny Wraith and I both saw the IGN review first. Personally I didn't think much of the review or the reviewer and his style, but I'm liking what PCGamer had to say.

    Its funny, because the last time I posted in the thread I never played a Civ game, and now I've been playing Civ 4. I'll probably wait a few months to year or two before getting it; wait for the community to mature as well as live out that Civ 4 purchase better.
