Thread: Any good Android games?

    Default Any good Android games?

Virtually all my game apps were Apple previously. Looking for some good Android games now. Either free or highly recommended if paid for.

    Any advice?

    What kind do you like?

I've got some from a humble bundle that are good, but not that good, while not being free. I think the game I played most was pokemon red on a gameboy emulator other than that I liked bike race, played subway surfer for a bit, those are both free.

Was kotor also ported to android, or just ios? Because that was a great game on pc.

Strategy and RPG etc games and other games that let you think rather than just reflexes or tapping. But my problem is strategy on mobile tends to just be the same crappy "build a town but you need to pay to do stuff" Freemium model.

Hadn't thought of Humble, will need to pay more attention next bundle.

The game I've enjoyed the most on android so far is Kingdom Rush, and its follow up; Kingdom Rush: Frontiers.

Tower Defense game, if you like em, and wonderfully balanced.

Couple of pounds to purchase I seem to remember.

The Anomaly games if you don't already have them for PC. Sort of like an inverse Tower Defense.

Out There. Mixture of FTL and Choose Your Own Adventure.

    Skulls of the Shogun.

    Radiant Defense.

Still trying to create a 8192 in 2048. Maybe you should try the "2048 puzzle" it's not the original one but I like it's design the most.

A game that lets you think.. World of goo is fun, also on android (though I played it on pc so I don't know how well it controls on a touch screen). I got a point and click game a while ago (Shivah) but haven't played it far enough to recommend it. I think there's a while bunch of old RPG games that have been ported, also GTA3 and Vice City, but you've probably already played those. I've just checked which games I got from a humble bundle that are also for android, I've played a bit of type rider which is fun so far (again, don't know how the android controls are), but I probably wouldn't spend money just on that game (though it is only €1).

    There's also a free demo.

Humble bundle has a sale in their web store now, not that much android stuff in there, but you might want to keep an eye on it.

It's probably better on a larger screen, though.
