"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."
It would be cool if you made music... I'd like to listen to it.
Freedom - When people learn to embrace criticism about politicians, since politicians are just employees like you and me.
"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."
There is so much that is awesome about this video. I could watch it for hours.

Glad they made "video" in 1969
This got me thinking about my mom (she used to play Swingle Singers and Switched-on-Bach cassettes in our station wagon). She loved to sing and was an alto in a "Sweet Adelines" group in the 60's. I remember her sewing theme costumes and practicing songs, but quit because juggling time was so difficult. Instead, she drove us kids to piano lessons and swim meets and....
I thought it was a local or regional thing that fizzled out over time, but apparently it's still alive and well. She'd hate the gymnastics and theatrics of today's competitions....but would love the a-capella harmonizing. These women can sing! IMO, it's better without the visuals

And while I'm feeling all sentimental about my mom, this is the lullaby she sang to us. And I sang it to my children, too.

Yeah, that's the lullaby that made me feel safe in an unsafe world.
Now that my little boy is a grown man, he's listening to Moses Sumney and feeling like I did when Neil Young came along. How sweet that music can still connect us, across generations.
