Keep on keepin' the beat alive!
The relationship with Israel will always be important to the US. It just makes things more difficult when a PM (like Netanyahu) says or does certain things running up to their elections.
I heard about that (probably by the Liberal Media), and she was accompanying a State Dept. official from the Bush Administration....
But a new treaty isn't being negotiated! As Loki pointed out -- this falls under an existing non-proliferation treaty with several other nations involved. Saying the Republican clown-car-congress is merely being 'flat-footed' is a vast understatement.Wanna guess how you get a future US administration not to renege? Get a treaty passed in Congress.
This letter is merely a flat-footed way to reminding the President that Congress votes on treaties.
No matter how important the relationship with Israel is percieved by the USA, a functioning NPT is significantly more important. That was already true in the past and only has become more true with the USA being less dependent on oil imports from the middle east.
Congratulations America
Some men are traitors. Others just want to watch the world burn:

We have a few Bolton fans in the house don't we?
"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."
And here we are at last. Trump undermines the US's credibility and deals the first blow to the deal, permanently damaging it and decreasing global security a little bit more. Will GOP congressmen cheer him on or will they finally remember their responsibilities?
"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."
Should be interesting. Most of the GOP ran an anti-Iran deal platform because they figured they'd never have to make any decisions (as long as the president certified the deal).
Hope is the denial of reality
