Any other president, this would be dominating the news cycle.

Trump attacking LeBron the same week he opened a school for at risk kids is a peak example for how disgusting and racist the GOP and conservatives have become to support and enable such a person.

"Interviewer Don Lemon criticised Mr Trump's tweet, and responded by referring to the separation of child migrants from their parents: "Who's the real dummy? A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages?""

This thread contains distressing videos showing the descent of the American citizenry into a fascist mob:

Trump is so frustrating. He just attacks anyone without thinking. There was a perfect time to hit someone who would have difficulty defending themselves. Sarah Jeong is a MUCH better target than the guy who just pledged a ton of money toward education. Her tweets are topical to the fake news narrative and can bring to the forefront the question of "can you racist towards white people." Obviously the answer is yes but instead of going on a well rehearsed rant about the racist New York Times and fake news he picks a fight with a popular basketball player who recently had a ton of positive press?

For fuck's sake the guy needs a better handler.

Most House and Senate Democrats don't even support that at this point.

Because they recognize that their spineless and/or irredeemably corrupt Republican peers--who care more about their party than they do about the country--will resist all efforts to impeach Trump unless they actually get front-row seats to a show where Trump gives Alaska to Putin in exchange for a fat wad of cash and a troupe of Russian prostitutes. And that resistance will just reinforce Trump's grip on Republicans, further corrupting US society. If Republicans were to regain their spines and show some semblance of integrity & character by eg. indicating that they would be willing to impeach Trump, Democrats would be on board.

So we moved from there was no collusion to collusion isn't a big deal to the collusion was necessary to defeat the Clintons. Meanwhile, Trump forgot his own talking points, and claimed his son's Russia meeting was to collude with Russia, not to discuss the adoption ban.

To be fair to Trump, he more or less confessed this a while back, after the lie was uncovered. But they're stepping things up now shortly after meeting with Hope Hicks again. Nothing dodgy going on here at all.

Have to dismantle the Obama administration's regulatory deep state, OG. It's the only way America will ever be able to pretend we never had a black president.

Mueller's "witch hunt" has cost about $16 million. The South Korea games he cancelled were quoted at $14 million.
Trump's golf trips have thus far cost $74 million.

    What an absolute joke.

What a shame the Democrats are so unlikely to take the Senate this cycle then. From memory Lewk is from Texas and in a blue wave Cruz losing his seat this November is a longshot but possible. Be funny to see that happen. Oh the lols of seeing him cry.

I have qualms myself about how it gets used and abused but getting people to flip for a lighter sentence doesn't really play a part in those qualms. That aspect of it is a good part, IMO (though, like any aspect of the use of power, there are ways it can be abused)

Not a single Republican Senator is going to flip on Kavanaugh because they dislike the president. That would be the ultimate pettiness. Kavanaugh is actually the type of conservative judge that the Republicans in the senate want. I'm also betting a few swing state dems vote for him to.

    "Dislike"

Kavanaugh is in the worst case scenario a judge that helps a criminal president evade justice.
