I think nobody will put an end to anything happening in the so-called muslim world as any attEmpt to stop mass murder there results in mass murder on an even more massive scale.

It doesn't help that both sides, especially the Houthis (and their ally, Saleh), have reneged on multiple deals in the past.
Hope is the denial of reality
The US & UK-endorsed Saudi blockade now risks killing tens if not hundreds of thousands of civilians, in addition to the tens of thousands whose lives have already been destroyed by prolonged malnutrition, infections etc. So, what are the odds of these beacons of freedom, democracy and human rights withdrawing their support and pressuring the Saudis to lift the blockade before it really is too late? Will they be held accountable?

At this point can we do away with the fiction that the free world actually legitimately cares about this? Everyone remember "Never Again" after Rwanda? Yeah either you are for the West putting boots on the ground or are you are saying "eh their lives don't matter enough for us to actually spend real capital dealing with it." I'm not even sure what is the right answer, and clearly in some cases non intervention will save more lives than if the West does intervene but it is wearisome that people believe sanctions and an international scolding is going to prevent things like mass starvation, ethnic cleansing or full scale genocide.
The west is involved in this war through its support for Saudi Arabia. The US was able to prevent a blockade but then decided to stop and just let Saudi Arabia do whatever the fuck it wanted.
