The article does not appear to be particularly misleading, and does not really acknowledge the narrative you mention. Louisville having just one polling place is a problem for democracy irrespective of which party is in power; we'll know how big a problem it was once we have info on how many people may have been discouraged from voting, and turnout data.

And covid case data in a couple of weeks

The point is that despite having only one polling place, there were no lines. And turnout is likely the highest in many years.

For all those complaining about PA being slow to count votes....blame the Republican-majority legislature who created the rules.

That tweet is "not available" to me, but the PA legislature under (R) majority control has been a circus.

That seems... unenforceable. What if said driver provides transportation to three or more people specifically to an agreed-upon place unrelated to, yet located within relatively short walking distance from the polling place, whereupon said people decide, without further involvement from the driver, to go to the polling place instead of their original destination?

Can easily be answered by calculating the average shade of skin-colour. All kidding aside, even a law that might not seem enforceable—in the sense that you're not likely to be able to convict anyone—can still be enforceable by police (who can arrest you) and prosecutors (who can prosecute you), in theory ruining your life. The mere possibility of that would deter people. The bill in question has temporarily been blocked, but these fuckers will be back soon. It's remarkable what little faith they have in their own electability—and what contempt they have for the quintessential expression of democracy.

It would also determine most major organizations.

The Republican party just can't stand the thought of a free and fair election:

"One day, we shall die. All the other days, we shall live."
