Thread: Tyranny

    Default Tyranny

I finished playing this over the long weekend. It's short, but I think I liked it more than Pillars of Eternity. PoE had a problem with the combat getting too dense and visually hard to follow for me, but Tyranny didn't have that problem. The downside to Tyranny is that it's short, but this is partially a product of how impactful your choices are - at least by appearances, the choices you make can radically change the path of the game. Still though, the game seems to be missing it's third act, and it ends on a cliffhanger. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes cRPGs in the flavor of Baldur's Gate or Pillars of Eternity.

Looking forward to Tides of Numenera coming late next month as the next game of this type.

I played the Tides of Numenera beta quite a bit over Christmas, it's pretty damn good.

Mmm just checked some of the gameplay vids on YT. Looks good.

This genre isn't usually on my list, but I did play BG extensively and enjoyed it a lot.

Will probably wait till the price drops then purchase.

And that's Why I'm Voting Leave.
