    Default Love Tucker's New Show

The script is repetitive but endlessly amusing.

News of crazy leftist action breaks.

Find crazy leftist willing to debate absurd point on national television.

    Let the cringe fest begin.

I'm sorry but I think this belongs in General Chat on our sister-forum thepooforgotten.com. For the record, Tucker's been unusually useless even by the low standards to which he was already held, so posting this is almost more embarrassing for you than those times you linked to your favourite reddit.

Surprising that you'd love a show that doesn't even pretend to be conservative, and is nothing more than apologetics for Trump. Remember when Tucker was sucking up to socialists who'd vouch for Russia?

I sent a bit of bias.

The fun part of the show is that he really doesn't overpower the conversation (like O'Reilly) and let's the idiocy of the left speak most often for itself.

That being said my all time favorite is this one:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ospNRk2uM3U

"Do you know what a barrel shroud is?"

    "Blah blah blah blah "

"Do you know what a barrel shroud is?"

    "Uh no I don't."

    "Because its in your legislation..."

Laughed pretty loud when someone linked to that one. We literally have people passing legislation who are utterly clueless about what they are actually legislating. His tone is absolutely perfect to show the right amount of 'do you see this shit?' with out being straight up rude.

Judging from this thread, Tucker, Watters & co. seem to have found their purpose in life: to be irredeemable shitheads.

Can you actually listen to this? The guy obviously filibustered.

Once your name gets big enough as a journalist, reporter, celebrity, hell freaken live stream twitch streamer, you're going to get hate and personally attacked and yes, death threats. Obviously not a good thing but mocking someone for being a shitty guest who won't answer a question does not make Tucker responsible for the crap the guy gets. And oh yes, it certainly wouldn't be the first time a liberal (or a conservative) faked death threats and other personal attacks to justify things so I always take that with a grain of salt.

Max Boot concurs that Tucker's a sad little shit:

Sad little shit fawns over other sad little shits.

This is the type of shit the mods are supposed to be keeping out of the D&D.

In all fairness I was the one who bumped the thread back up.

    Thats bad too.

on the plus side, I've gone a year without hearing about this guy or his play show. So something at least is right in the world.

No it's not. Even without the fact Aimless was the one who bumped the dead thread, D&D is for debates and discussion and we've always had a low touch policy. Every time Lewk posts this shit people responding is what keeps it up there at the top. If nobody replies the thread dies away like this one had.

If you want Lewk's threads to fall away then just don't reply.

I know you're joking but to be serious anyone can do that sometimes, but if someone constantly bumps a thread that nobody else is replying to that is the point where it basically becomes spamming and is where I would feel as a mod that I should step in.

We deliberately as mods don't try and judge the quality or accuracy of someone's post or politics (that would not end well!) but instead simply rule breaking.

nope not here, but maybe here, here, and here would be better examples.

Must say, you do get rather comical when the board collective ignores you.

As I've already said, I've never heard of this guy before Aimless' twitter link. a sad little shit so easily manipulating sad little shits like yourself doesn't really register on my radar as something to be "burned" about. You over estimate your ability to "make liberals cry" and you come off really foolish instead.

If you're not going to enforce what the forums are labeled for, then there shouldnt be more than one forum here.

The sub-forums are self-enforced by users rather than enforced by mods. Do you really want us to get heavy handed?

Besides this is politics still so in my eyes is D&D. Lewk's twisted personal and repetitive politics but politics nonetheless.

Leave it here. I think it's an example that Lewk is like millions of others who get their "news" from cable TV shows, talk radio, and web sites which are designed to polarize. Is it entertainment posing as information, or the other way around?

Lewk, do you post here because you want ideas/opinions outside your bubble, or are you just entertained by trolling?

I like discussion with people from different perspectives. Many, many others are very monolithic or clearly in two camps.

  22. #22
Lewk, has anything you've discussed here changed your mind about anything? Led you to step outside your camp, or made you question your own monolithic beliefs?

Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson is firmly in the xenophobe camp and about one step away from admitting to being a racist.

You misread him. "Discussion" to lewk means making fun of fat people who get "triggered" over concepts he finds acceptable.

What exactly is meant by diversity? Diversity of thought? Diversity of skin color? Religion?

Hey most Americans like America. (Well maybe not the college liberals but most regular Americans) Maybe we should import some diversity of thought and bring in folks who hate America! That will make things better?

The drum roll of diversity continues to make people classify each other in certain groups. STOP. If you are white, black, oriental or whatever... it all should not matter. Treat people the same regardless of skin color or ethnic background. How is this a bad thing? So when people say 'we need more diversity' all I hear is 'hey we need to start treating people differently based on superficial 19th century stuff'

Nice word games, Lewk. Are you really going to be on the side of those who are explicitly calling for a white America?

No, I'm explicitly siding with people who think race shouldn't matter in 2018.

  28. #28
That's why they're explicitly against immigration from Latin America and Africa.

I'm explicitly against migration of unskilled labor. Don't care if its from Canada or Mexico. I'm also explicitly against immigration from countries that we can't properly vet, which yes would include parts of Latin America and Africa. Its a security issue, its an overburdened social safety net issue. If you want to immigrate from India (assuming not the really rural lack of paperwork crap parts)or Japan or Italy I don't have a problem with that as long as you can bring some of value with you, not another mouth to feed and an addition to the underground economy.

Two items should be required, black, white, pink, brown, green or whatever doesn't matter. A marketable skill that won't put you on welfare, and the ability to get a meaningful background check.

    A) Trump attacked immigration from Africa; he didn't just attack immigration of unskilled workers from Africa. He didn't say he wanted skilled workers from Norway.
    B) Immigrants from Africa are actually more educated than the average American (higher rate of college degrees).
    C) Where did you get the BS that immigrants from Latin America and Africa aren't vetted? If anything, the vetting process there is more stringent.
    D) There is no evidence that immigrants overburden safety nets. You certainly don't hear the cities with the most immigrants - New York and LA - complaining.
    E) Immigrants, most of them from the third world, contribute more to the economy than they take in. There are countless studies showing as much.
    F) The background checks to get into this country are far more stringent than the ones you get in this country.

You really need to lay off Breitbart and Fox.
