    Default Lets go Sessions

"Two top Republicans involved in crafting tax legislation asked the Department of Justice to take another look at embattled former IRS employee Lois Lerner.

Lerner led the IRS department suspected of targeting conservative groups that were seeking nonprofit status."

If the IRS deliberately targeted groups for political reasons that needs to be brought to light as painfully as possible for the Democrats. It is the Washington way not to prosecute illegal actions of previous administrations because of the idea "what goes around comes around" and they wouldn't want the next regime to do the same to them. However that is the cowardly path, if crimes are committed they should be prosecuted. We should hold 'public servants' to a higher standard.

Weren't you highly in favour of profiling? Surely groups that say tax is illegal should be investigated for tax evasion according to you right?

The IRS is not uncommonly used that way by both parties, it's been going on for over 100 years. Not every administration partakes, but more do it than not. Bush Jr., Clinton, and Reagan all did it during their administrations.
Last night as I lay in bed, looking up at the stars, I thought, “Where the hell is my ceiling?"
