Seems like a rare look into the reality that the people who did these things were...people. Not subhumans. Not monsters. People. Because people are capable of terrible things.

I'm not really surprised, at the biggest facility in Holland they had a theatre with a near regular program. Admittedly that was a facility where people where shipped from to places like Auschwitz but a full blown concentration camp all the same.
It's a good reminder for us that human nature has an incredible capacity for cruelty once a person has convinced himself/herself that the victim isn't really a human being. Most guards at the worst camps had more in common with you and me than with serial killers.
