"A Florida detective who was repeatedly shot by a gunman last year pulled out a tube of K-Y jelly in court to taunt his attacker after he was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday.

“You are going to need a lot of this,” the cop, who wasn’t named, told a smug-looking Kevin Rojas, 21, in court, according to The Florida Times-Union."

And knowing that police and guards roll in the same circles it wouldn't surprise me if it happened a bit more often than normal for little Kevin.

Criminals getting what they deserve. He isn't being sentenced to being raped in prison but just like I wouldn't mind if terrorists get paralyzed by tripping down some stairs if something bad happens to this garbage while in prison, oh well.

This is about as straight forward justice as you can get. The guy gets life in prison for his actions and the person he nearly killed gets to have the last laugh. Its freaken poetic.

Specifically I believe he feels someone getting raped by prisoners and/or prison guards is funny and positively relishes the thought.

Our society is far too callous and downright obnoxious about prison conditions that are actually quite problematic.

You know I'm OK with more isolation for violent criminals but guess who will get all bent out of shape about that?

Prison isolation and prison rape do not need to run on the same continuum.

But you have to admit if someone was in isolation it would be a lot harder for them to rape someone.
