"Liam Allan was charged with 12 counts of rape and sexual assault but his trial collapsed after police were ordered to hand over phone records.
The 22-year-old student said his life had been "flipped upside down" and he wanted lessons to be learned."
"The case against Mr Allan at Croydon Crown Court was dropped after three days when the evidence on a computer disk containing 40,000 messages revealed the alleged victim pestered him for "casual sex"."
Insane. The police had all of this and refused to hand it over for two years. Thank goodness the disk wasn't 'misplaced.' Oh and I wonder do you think any charges are going to be filed against the evil bitch who put this man through hell? NOPE. Hell they won't even release her identity. (Which he should totally fucking do btw, and be absolutely 100% justified in doing so).
Every person has the right to be heard but we should never believe shit on face value. Especially when it comes to people who used to be in a relationship, the incentive to lie (especially when there is little consequence to doing so) is far too high.
