You know, Americans just don't get that excited over sporting events.

If you want to get an impression of the atmosphere look here. And keep in mind that was after Oranje eliminated Brazil. Now we've got roughly the same ahead of the match.

    Congratulations America

What's going to happen with this mob-mentality if Spain wins?

All that orange is painful. Looks fun, though.

edit: Also, a couple of these topless men are totally fucking hot.

Yeah, that's another bonus, the topless men everywhere. What you see in that video isn't half as good as what I've seen there earlier today. Orange is the colour to wear, the more the better. I'm feeling bad about not having anything orange to wear. Ronald was lucky enough to score a free t-shirt, but they only had medium and that's really too small for me.

Louis van Gaal says that as far as he's concerned Spain isn't really the better team. And king Louis knows his shit when he's talking about football

If Spain wins they will be too sad to do anything. We plan to watch the first half at home, then depending on the results we'll stay there or go to the Museumplein.
    Congratulations America

    Kick off by Netherlands.

Time for me to seriously watch
    Congratulations America

    I hope the Dutch win.

Read that canal houseboat owners have increased insurance coverage in case folks get rowdy and sink boats. If they win there's to be a huge boat parade!

Yeah, but most of them speak 3-4 languages. And they seem to be quite effecitve disturbing the 'beauty' of the Spanish game.

Well, they know what can happen to teams that play nice football like the Spanish; they get to the final and lose twice.

BTW you are right, that was an incredible foul.

Wow, that was a real rough first half. All I can say is that it is obvious BOTH sides really really really want to win at any price.
    Congratulations America

The referee is one of the things that suck in this match. He missed some things (lucky for Holland too by the way) now he's killing the game whenever 2 players are near the ball .

    And fuck this !!!

Does it usually take 105 minutes of ground cleaning before a soccer game breaks out?
Hope is the denial of reality
