No. Trump's policy of determent (punishment) was fundamentally flawed. But that doesn't relieve the US from our legal or moral duties. People seeking asylum shouldn't be treated like animals.

Only if you're an idiot who believes egregious and vile over the top actions actually work in deterring people from taking actions . . . oh I see.

No, that's super dumb reasoning, and you should be embarrassed for saying something so dumb that even the dumbest redneck would be hesitant to share it to his grandpa's Facebook page. The cruel family separation policy—which we know for a fact was implemented, in the most repugnant manner—was indeed motivated by the express belief that it would deter asylum seekers, but whether or not it has been a successful deterrent is irrelevant to the determination of whether or not it was actually implemented at all. We know—from investigative reporting, from lawyers, from court proceedings, from hearings and from official briefings—that it was implemented, and we're learning about worse things every day. You don't need to deduce that reality from dumb reasoning that only applies if the mistreatment is worse than being raped, tortured and/or killed in your own home. Jesus, how have you managed to become this dumb?

A doctor's account of mistreatment of children on a b massive scale:

Officials should go to jail over this.

Officials should go to jail for this sort of fatal mistreatment. Those that don't, should be on the hook for millions.

You want to put doctors in jail for the misdiagnosis? I mean if that's the hill you want to fight on, go for it.

The solution to the border crisis is to stop allowing people to abuse asylum claims, or at the very least make a very swift conclusion to their case. It shouldn't take a judge more than an hour or so to examine the evidence. If you don't have evidence, bye you get sent right back over. One judge could deport a hundred in a single day easy, that would fix the humanitarian crisis on the border.

Of course Democrats don't want that, they want more children dying so they can try to win an election. They had to practically be forced to providing emergency aid relief which included medicine, housing, supplies needed to house people.

We know that under no circumstances can we allow catch and release to continue, that option is off the table. Given that, what is the solution the Democrats want to solve the issue so overcrowding in ICE detention centers and the broader boarder crisis?

Everything in your post is nonsense. I can't tell whether it's an illiteracy issue or a stupidity issue, but I'm leaning towards the latter. Of course, your willingness to abuse children in furtherance of a racist agenda also suggests another plausible explanation.

    Cruelty is a choice—not a necessity:

Except, of course to those racist child-hating creeps who fetishize cruelty.

There are a hundred hours in a day? Ladies and gentleposters, this seems like a bona fide example of applied mathematics to people in the US insurance industry.

Reading comprehension is clearly a challenge for you.

"It shouldn't take a judge more than an hour or so to examine the evidence. "

This statement implies the hour is the *upper limit* not the minimum time. Furthermore often times family units come across, if dad and mom have three kids their asylum claim is a 5 in 1 process.

  12. #192
The statement—and your ridiculous clarification—implies that you're stupid and have no regard for laws, justice or even basic decency.

We both know the asylum claims are bunk. Claiming asylum because you want a better economic climate is bull shit. They are clogging up the system and its causing serious medical and humanitarian issues. Problems that Democrats refuse to solve as they want to import more voters for their socialist agenda.

I'm sorry but you're full of shit, and you do not know that all or even most of the claims are bunk. Many/most of those currently seeking asylum have legitimate claims to asylum on the basis of fleeing generalized violence that especially targets women and children. They are entitled, under international law, to seek asylum, and they are entitled, under both domestic and international law, to due process. You cannot safeguard an asylum seeker's due process rights if you have a judge assessing a couple of hundred cases a day where the applicants do not have access to legal counsel, an interpreter, or—and this is just so deeply shameful—their legal guardians. The remainder of your post is also bullshit—of a ludicrously conspiratorial variety—and it's embarrassing to see you persist in peddling the same paranoid Breitbartian Q-style brainfarts over and over again as if you expect rational people to take you seriously. The harm being done to these children is the result of policy decisions that you applaud, presumably because you're an absurd little degenerate who derives pleasure from the suffering of brown people or whoever else you've decided is your enemy. You and I both know how pathetic your senile conspiracy-mongering is, and it's truly weird that you keep acting like nobody can see through your bullshit.

So tell me then has there been a massive % increase in asylum claims in the last decade or so?

  16. #196
Stop beating around the bush; it just makes you look more silly when you try to act clever. Just present whatever halfwit argument it is you've pulled out of your ass/some racist website for senile boomers.

If you think that's an upper limit and it will usually be much faster you're delusional. As for your "furthermore" clarification, no. That's not a 5 in 1, that's a 5 in 5. There is no such thing as "collective justice" in our judicial or police systems nor should there be. One person's evaluation and determination is based on its own merits, not those of some other person. The fact that you choose to ignore this bedrock principle of justice just goes to show once again what a bigoted conservative-in-name-only jackass you are.

Are you not getting it? If there is evidence of asylum worthy claims it would apply to each of them or none of them. But here is the issue - w/o evidence asylum claims shouldn't be even considered.

What is this alt-right swamp meme about people getting asylum without there being any evidence to support their claim?

They're here, aren't they? And they're not from a place as shattered as Somalia, or under a "dangerous regime" like NK or Iran, right? Isn't that evidence enough?

I mean, I get it, but I still have difficulties getting my head around the notion that all of this dumbfuckery is somehow emanating from a single real human(-ish) being.

Yet, the Evangelical Christians, who make up a large part of the non-profit refugee settlement effort, will still stand behind Trump *politically*...because they're convinced he's The Chosen One, doing God's work?
