Default Michael Cohen's interrogation of conscience

Despite this republican legislator's attempt to intimidate a witness on the eve of his testimony before Congress, Cohen's hearing is now in full swing.

    His prepared testimony, in writing:

I'm not sure how much longer the GOP establishment can keep this up.

For how big an asshole he is, he did good reminding everyone that he is a fucking lawyer. Really embarrassed the GOP, even their meme sign. Very well articulated concerning how awful Trump was, is, and how ridiculous the GOP has become.

The Republicans didn't even bother trying to defend Trump, all they did was attack Cohen. Despite the positions and years of service he has working for Trump and that party of asshats.

I wonder how that hearing looked like to Americans who support Trump. I felt like I was watching a poorly executed hatchet job whenever a republican took the word.
    Congratulations America

    Ignorance and stupidity.

They're bitching that it was scripted and he was coached by the Dems. That somehow Trump being in NK means that nothing happening with Cohen matters.

You can say what you like about the new generation of Democratic reps and their policy positions, but it's hard to deny they were among the only ones to use their time effectively at this hearing, both when it came to furthering their objectives wrt investigation & oversight as well as wrt their broader political objectives eg. building a brand. In their few short minutes of questioning, AOC & Ro Khanna appear to have helped lay the groundwork for effectively pursuing much more useful investigations into crimes--tax fraud, insurance fraud, campaign finance violations, perjury--that implicate Trump, TrumpOrg, Dummy Jr, Pecker, Weisselberg & others. Not gonna speculate on what Cohen's answers may imply about what evidence Mueller's team or the SDNY may or may not have, but it seems fair to assume they may help build a case that ultimately doesn't rest on Cohen's testimony.
