A person's view of Carlson is like a litmus test for moral decrepitude. Looks like some companies are reconsidering their association with him, but I'm not sure whether Fox is ready to give up the own-the-libs money even if it means embracing one of the grossest men on American TV right now. Contrast their silence re. Carlson with their swift rebuke of Pirro's recent attack on Ilhan Omar.

I have the feeling that mental health in the USA is in short supply. Am I wrong?
Victimhood culture is all but healthy. Anyone with basic understanding of mental health knows it.
I see weird premises all the time in media.
For example, latino is not a race. Latin America is composed by 27 countries with several races and cultures. You need to be racist to think latino is a race.

As an aside I always wonder about people who confuse what leading actually is. It is neither good nor bad. You can lead a gang to murder, you can lead an organization dedicated to evil, having leadership qualities just means you are good at getting people to get shit done.

OMG NO! What is absolutely absurd are the "Fox News" opinion-show hosts (Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham) pushing a *replacement theory* that appeals to the aggrieved white male as victim....AND a president that gets his ideas for policy from these obnoxious cable TV personalities.

It's also absurd that Paul Ryan waited until he retired from congress before writing a critical op-ed, but now he's on the board of Fox Corp and remains mum:

Did you know that the Nazi's didn't start mass murder of jews and others as soon as they came into power? They had to work up to it, and they started with propaganda aimed at dehumanizing jewish people and painting them as national enemies?

Did you know that a German in the early 30s could have made similar excuses (make no mistake; that's exactly what they are and every single person on this forum can see it) about Nazi policy to the ones you're making now; "of course, we aren't going to start exterminating Jews, don't be silly. In fact, these laws don't even mention Jews. We're just ensuring important civil service positions can't be held by *all* non-Aryans (not just Jews!) who don't have the best interests of Germany in mind.
