Default Supreme Court Ruling // Immigration

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/p...gal-immigrants

"Alito wrote that in the past, the court has "held time and time again, an official's crucial duties are better carried out late than never."

He also rejected the argument from lawyers representing the immigrants involved in the case that they are subject to mandatory detention only if they are arrested "on the day he walks out of jail," giving the example that state and local officials "sometimes rebuff the government's request that they give notice when a criminal alien will be released.""

Good ruling. But are you fucking shitting me? The liberal wing was arguing that if someone is released from prison and not immediately detained by ICE then they can never be detained?? And you know liberal states like CA would hide when an illegal is released from jail just to prevent immigration authorities from being able to do their jobs.

    Justice delayed is justice denied.

Yes absolutely a gap of say weeks between release and detention is justifiable. However years had passed here. That's not because they were hidden. There should be some sort of limit like the statute of limitations.

Oh and these guys are not "illegal".
