Someone breaches security and heads to potentially attack the Chancellor, could easily have had a knife and he has escorted her out roughly.

In the US she could have been shot. At least we aren't talking about that.
Do you see anything in the video that makes her look even slightly threatening?

Perhaps he heard her speaking in a suspicious Irish accent...

"There was no security present and I was, for a split second, genuinely worried she might have been armed," Mr Field said.
It took you about 15 seconds to bundle her out of the room, Mark, so assuming we define a 'split second' as, say, 0.1 of a second, what was going through your head for the other 14.9?

Yeah supercreepy people who call the police if they think there's domestic violence in progress.

Interesting to see how even his girlfriend thinks he's a privileged brat.
    Congratulations America

RB, you're a goddamn' weirdo. The Guardian article describes a neighbor acting entirely appropriately out of concern for a woman reasonably believed to have been in danger, in contrast to the creepy conduct of the throat-grabbing jackass in the other incident. Frankly, your defense of the former, and attack on the latter, both show you to be lacking in judgement and character. I don't know why you identify with violent, boorish, racist liars, but it's creepy.

Nothing weird calling the Police if you suspect something. Though the Police turned up and said there was nothing happening and everyone was OK.

Recording a couple's argument at home then selling that to the Guardian? Creepy.

How is a neighbour recording what is happening inside somebody else's home then selling that to the Guardian "acting entirely appropriately"? Giving it to the Police sure absolutely, giving it to a paper is creepy.

What you choose to record inside your own home is your own business, and, in this case, in the public interest as well.

Recording other people's homes is creepy. And I don't see the public interest of knowing that a couple got into an argument over red wine spilt on a sofa.

Certainly not if the neighbor tries to sell himself fit to be your PM.

Getting into a lovers tiff over red wine spilt on a sofa makes you unsuitable to be PM?

    Pathetic.

Then maybe he shouldn't have been loud enough for other people to hear it in the first place. I mean, if I talk in a normal voice in my own appartment there's no one able to record it.

The Mail is just pissed the neighbors dissed them and went to the Guardian instead with the recording.

When your PM is so lacking in character that he keeps cheating on his partners, so incompetent that he keeps getting caught, and so lacking in judgement that he fathers a child during an affair... that's a national security issue, and absolutely in the public interest.

What has happened in the last week to demonstrate that Boris is anything other than the liberal Tory I said? I mean its truly pathetic that the main thing to attack him on seems to be that he spilt some red wine on a couch.

Yes completely pathetic. What a pair of pathetic curtain twitching creeps. Pathetic of the Guardian to stoop to such gutter tabloid journalism.
Reports of Johnson and Bannon’s relationship were first published last summer. When asked about it at the time, Johnson said: “As for the so-called association with Steve Bannon, I’m afraid this is a lefty delusion whose spores continue to breed in the Twittersphere.”

He said he had met Bannon in his role as foreign secretary and found the accusation that he was ‘with Bannon’ to be ‘perplexing’.

A spokesman for Johnson said: “Any suggestion that Boris is colluding with or taking advice from Mr Bannon or Nigel Farage is totally preposterous to the point of conspiracy.”

OK Mary Whitehouse whatever you say. What is this the 1950s?

Maybe I'm just more liberal than you but I quite consistently don't think that what happens in the bedroom has any bearing on politics.

No, the main reasons would be that he's an incompetent windbag and a habitual liar. This is just the cherry on the cake.

But your tolerance for his ilk is interesting.

I don't tolerate liberal Tories. I am one. He is my type of politician, a liberal Conservative.

Not an illiberal authororitarian like May, or an illiberal bedroom botherer like Aimless.
